African American Studies

Introduction

Welcome to the African American Studies research guide. This is a guide to the library's electronic and print resources dealing with African American history, culture, literature, race, and more.

There will be a mix of print and online library resources including journals, newspapers, primary sources, books and ebooks, streaming media, as well as publicly available online websites.

The databases listed below are suggested general starting places, but the tabs to the left will take you to more resources on specific topics.

For assistance with finding resources please ask a librarian in the chat box in the right-hand column. For more in depth help, contact the Africana Liaison Librarian, Liz Svoboda.
