African Studies

Introduction

Welcome to the African Studies research guide. Resources on this guide relate to the study of the countries, people, culture, history, politics, and current events of Africa.

There will be a mix of physical and online library resources including journals, newspapers, primary sources, books and ebooks, streaming media, as well as publicly available online websites.

The databases listed below are suggested general starting places for your research, but the tabs to the left will take you to more resources on specific topics.

For assistance with finding resources please ask a librarian in the chat box in the right-hand column. For more in-depth help contact the Africana Liaison Librarian, Liz Svoboda.
