Avoiding Plagiarism

Accurately citing sources used for research is an important part of the writing and research process. Citation is important because:

It is used to give credit for information originally written elsewhere.
Citation enables others to find the same information again.
Failure to give credit for drawing on the work of others constitutes plagiarism.

Avoiding Plagiarism | Blackboard Self-enroll Course
A self-enroll Blackboard course to help students understand what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. The course consist of two half hour tutorials and two review quizzes. The quiz results can be shared via email.
