Using Journal Finder

Journal Finder allows you to search for journals by title or ISSN number and see the which volumes the library has, either electronically or in print. Journal Finder is available from the library homepage. In the search box, choose the "Journal Titles" tab. You can also click the "Advanced Search" link for other options for searching for journals (e.g. by ISSN).

Browse Periodicals by Subject

There are several ways to search or browse journals in Journal Finder.

  1. Search journals by title or identifying number (ISSN) - RECOMMENDED
  2. Browse by title
  3. Browse by subject

After you search for a journal's title, a results screen will come up. Some journals can be accessed through multiple databases, so be sure to check date ranges for each database.

To access the journal in a particular database, click the appropriate, blue database link. You will then be taken to a page within the database that will let you browse though the journal by year or volume and then by issue.

No Results in Journal Finder

If Journal Finder returns a page with the following text, the library does not subscribe to the journal you have searched. Please place an Interlibrary Loan request.
