This video will demonstrate how to export citations into Endnote from both Pubmed and CINAHL. NOTE: Please look at the image in the section above to make sure you are using the correct version of Pubmed
U-M Flint's subscription to RefWorks expires at the end of 2020. See "More..." for suggested alternatives.
Create your own personal database, import references from Thompson Library databases, automatically format papers and bibliographies. You must create an individual account before using this resource. We strongly recommend transitioning to EndNote, or one of the other citation management resources:
• EndNote: Citation management package. Provides 2GB of file storage (up to 50,000 references), and supports citations in the 20 most popular bibliographic styles. Requires creation of a free account. The Thompson Library will offer workshops in transitioning from RefWorks to EndNote. To use EndNote from off campus, you must first create a personal account while on campus, or off campus using LabAnywhere. (You can then use EndNote without LabAnywhere.)
• Mendeley: Supports desktop, web, and mobile device use to access citations and PDFs.
• Zotero Bib: Open access tool supporting several major citation formats
• Zotero: Downloadable software for citation management
Additionally, many databases have options for formatting citations in popular formats.
