This guide is intended primarily as a service to people not affiliated with UM-Flint who are looking for online resources.
UM-Flint students are STRONGLY encouraged to use QuickSearch and the subject guides. The resources on this page are NOT a substitute for the Thompson Library's print collections and licensed online resources.
Guests should consult their own libraries for the most comprehensive collections of online resources. Residents of the State of Michigan also can use the Michigan eLibrary (MeL).
Scholarly articles and other resources. UM-Flint students can also use Google Scholar @ UM-Flint, a version optimized for our campus.
Search for open access articles by title, citation, URL, DOI, PMID, or PMC ID. Free, legally available articles can be located using this search.
WorldWideScience.org searches dozens of open access science databases for scientific articles, datasets, software, audio & video resources, unpublished datasets, and results visualizations [example].
