The international newspaper Financial Times is available to UM-Flint students, faculty, and staff through 2023 (and possibly longer, if there's sufficient interest in it). This is an important news source in the fields of business, finance, economics, and international affairs.
The fine print: Unlike most library resources, access to Financial Times requires you to register with FT.COM and does not offer anonymized searching. The database link leads to a sign-up page at FT.COM, where you can make your own account and take advantage of the library subscription. Your account will be with FT, not directly with the library, however. Your search history and privacy are subject to FT policies, not the Thompson Library's. If this is a concern, we do offer anonymized access to the Financial Times through ProQuest, but with an embargo on content of the most current month.
