CEIC's Data Manager, CDMNext, provides access global economic data with a particular focus on emerging economies. Included data sets cover macroeconomic, financial and industry data across more than 200 countries collected from official and alternative sources. "6.6 million time series covering more than 200 countries, 20 industries and 18 macroeconomic sectors." -- CEIC

Interface allow users to create interactive charts of individual or combined data series. Charts can be downloaded in XLS, PDF, PNG, JPG; series data can be downloaded in Excel, CSV, or MatLib formats.

Data sets include:

• Global Database (213+ countries): macroeconomic, financial and industry data from official and alternative sources such as online platforms, satellites, internet searches and mobility trackers.
• World Trend Plus Database: benchmarking and reference data to compare developed and emerging markets
• High Frequency Database
• Special focus "premium" economic data sets for:
  • Brazil, Russia, India, Indonesia, China
  • Time-series records for macroeconomic, sector, and regional data

Indicator sectors: national accounts; production; sales, orders, inventory & shipments; government and public finance; demographic and labor market; construction and properties, inflation; foreign trade; domestic trade and household survey; monetary; balance of payments; banking statistics; tourism; interest and foreign exchange rates; energy; transport and telecommunications; business and economic survey; financial market.

Guide to using Dow Jones Factiva

Information on nearly twenty-four million companies, including large and mid-sized companies in the United States and Canada, and hundreds of thousands of companies world-wide. Includes contacts and emails, analysis of company operations, actions and changes, plus additional data points such as technologies (software, etc.) used at a company. D&B Hoovers aggregates and enhances content from over 30 diverse content providers representing 2,000 separate information sources including Reuters, CorpTech, Investext, RMA Industry Ratios, and StatUSA.

Orbis has information about 40 million companies, including 18 million European companies from 46 countries, 16 million US and Canadian companies, 6.5 million South and Central American companies, 1.3 million Japanese companies, 300,000 Chinese companies, and 90,000 African companies. Orbis includes information about 30,000 banks and 8,000 insurance companies.

Users are required to enter "University of Michigan" in the "Enter your organization's name" box to authenticate and use the database.Technical Notes: Use of scripts or automated methods to download data from Orbis is strictly prohibited. If you require access to a larger dataset, please contact kresge_library@umich.edu.

Provides trade information produced by the U.S. government. Current and cumulative U.S. export and import data for over 18,000 export commodities and 24,000 import commodities. Export and import data is also available by port.

The World Development Indicators (WDI) provides a comprehensive selection of economic, social and environmental indicators, drawing on data from the World Bank and more than 30 partner agencies. The database covers more than 900 indicators for 210 economies with data back to 1960. Specific series and countries/groups can be selected for specific year ranges, and data can be exported.
