Per the University of Michigan-Flint Senate Bylaws (section II.03), Faculty Senate Council will call a regular Faculty Senate meeting at least once each fall and winter semester. "A special meeting of the Faculty Senate may be called to discuss an issue described in a petition that is signed by at least ten members of the Faculty Senate and presented to the chair of the Senate Council."
