Available Video Tutorials

The Thompson Library has created a range of video tutorials on library resources and services. Most are available through both our YouTube channel and through Canvas / Kaltura's My Media or the Shared Repository.

To request a video to be made, please fill out the instruction request form to begin the process of video creation.

Embedding Video Tutorials through Kaltura My Media

Videos from Canvas’s Kaltura My Media or the Shared Repository give you more options with regard to course analytics.

You can either add library tutorials through the Shared Repository or contact Liz Svoboda so we can add you as a collaborator on specific videos, meaning that they will show up in your My Media account.

Kaltura Video Shared Repository - ODE Instructions
Videos that have been uploaded to the Kaltura My Media page can be shared with other instructors to be reused across multiple courses. This guide will cover both processes of sharing videos and using videos shared by others.

Embedding YouTube Videos

YouTube videos can easily be embedded in a Canvas module through the Rich Content Editor's "Insert Media Tool."
